Former Aston Villa midfielder Peter Wittingham dies, falls at the bar


 The sad news comes from British football. The legendary Wales midfielder, Peter Wittingham, dies at the Heath Hospital in Cardiff on Thursday 19 March 2020.

Wittingham died of a head injury he suffered. The fatal injury was obtained by Wittingham because he slipped in the Barry area club on March 7, 2020.

There was a treatment given to the 35-year-old man. However, due to the incident, his head injury was severe and made Wittingham critical. In the end Wittingham's life was beyond help.

The police have confirmed that there was no evidence of a crime in the death of Wittingham. The incident, purely an accident.

"Grief is so deep, and we have to convey this news to supporters, Peter Wittingham, died at the age of 35," so the official statement of Cardiff City, former Wittingham club, reported by the Daily Mirror.

"We were devastated. The news of Peter's death came suddenly, and it shocked us. Our sorrow and love were sent to his wife, Amanda, along with their sons and family," they continued.

During his lifetime, Wittingham was known as a polite footballer. In addition to defending Cardiff, Wittingham also briefly defended the legendary Premier League club, Aston Villa.
