Defeat Watford, Liverpool Increasingly Sturdy at the Top of the Standings


Liverpool defeated Watford in the Premier League match. Playing at Anfield, Liverpool won with a score of 2-0 over Watford, Saturday, December 14, 2019.

With this result, Liverpool are getting stronger at the top of the Premier League standings with 49 points from 17 matches. The Reds are 11 points ahead of Leicester City in second place.

Watford had a chance at eight minutes. But unfortunately Adrian Mariappa's bait to Troy Deeney was caught offside.

Sadio Mane had a chance on 24 minutes. But Sadio Mane's shot went wide on the left side of the Watford goal.
